Dr. Peter Adriaens’ career has focused on developing and determining the value-creation potential of innovative clean technologies. He is widely published in technology journals and is a sought-after speaker on cleantech innovation.
His “flask to field” research initiatives have ranged from microbial sensing to green building design to corporate value creation related to the water and energy nexus. He has consulted and advised large multinationals corporations, startup companies and venture capital firms.
Dr. Adriaens' global perspective to cleantech innovation is reflected in his serving on the Science Advisory Boards of Environmental Science and Technology Centers in the U.S., Germany and Dalian, China.
Dr. Adriaens received his B.S. in Agricultural Engineering and M.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Gent (Belgium). He holds a Ph.D. in Soil and Environmental Science from the University of California-Riverside and did postdoctoral work in Environmental Engineering at Stanford University.
